JR Germanier is winegrower in Valais (Switzerland). Swiss winegrowers are under a growing international competitive pressure. Austrians sell thrice as much wine as the Swiss ones, in part thanks to their advance in the digital space. JR Germanier has developed a digital strategy to complement its existing distributor network. This strategy starts with the development of an internet site. Abonobo has created a new design and developed a web site in three languages that enables the reservation of services, the subscription to the newsletter with an opt-in and provides the list of the distributors. This new site has generated an increase in the number of visitors with a good Google ranking. This improved visibility on internet enabled JR Germanier to increase its online sales.
